The Challenge: Reach the Market More Efficiently
NTT, a leader in the industrial training market, retained Product ID for strategic marketing assistance. At the time, they were using primarily direct mail campaigns as a means to reach their target demographic. Frustrated with the cost and results from these campaigns they asked Product ID to revamp their strategic marketing, help reduce their costs and make their marketing efforts more efficient. Product ID reviewed the market and put into place several programs to meet NTT’s goals.
The Solution: Reduce Cost, Increase Efficiency
To help reduce the cost of their marketing efforts and increase the efficiency of their campaigns we offset the high cost of direct mail catalogs with email campaigns that used targeted messaging. We also revamped their overall messaging by making it more consistent and developed a new, more powerful graphic language for their collateral.
Understanding that direct mail catalogs are still a necessary part of their marketing effort we designed their direct mail catalogs to be repurposed for multiple campaigns, thereby reducing the overall amount of catalogs needed on an annual basis.
The Result: Increased Sales Leads, More Efficient Marketing
By adding email campaigns to their marketing program and creating a more consistent message with powerful collateral graphics, NTT saw sales leads grow and their marketing costs shrink.
